We are honored to welcome Lieutenant Edgar Gonzalez of the Texas Department of Public Safety as our guest speaker. Lt. Gonzalez brings a wealth of experience from his service as a State Trooper across Harris, Fort Bend, and Waller Counties, to his work in criminal interdiction and narcotics enforceme  nt as a K9 handler. He later led complex investigations targeting transnational criminal organizations, including MS-13 and the Texas Mexican Mafia, through his work with the Texas Anti-Gang Center and Multi-Agency Gang Task Force. Currently, Lt. Gonzalez leads the Threat to Life Program, overseeing the region’s Behavioral Threat Assessment efforts. His team’s collaborative, intelligence-driven approach to preventing targeted violence is at the forefront of proactive public safety.
